Hypocrisy. 

The hypocrisy of the Pakistani extremist liberals and the extremist religious group has been witnessed for a long time. Both parties are standing at the extreme corner of their so-called rightness. Different cases of sexual harassment and attempted rapes have been reported during the last decade. Some so-called religious scholars have blatantly been found raping their students in maddresah. Similarly, some others cases of sexual harassment and sexual temptation have been seen in universities for the past few years. Lot of cases of child rapes and murders have been reported and seen in different cities of Pakistan since 2010.

Any kind of sexual harassment or sexual assault is illegal and forbidden by the law of Pakistan, no matter whosoever has done this. Thus such types of activities are not only illegal and against our social, cultural, or religious values but also detested and blame able. Such types of people have no religion and concern with humanity and have no place in society. These people should equally be treated, judged, and punished by the law no matter if they belong to maddressah,or universities.

But the problem with Pakistani extremists is that they start campaigning and demanding punishments only for those culprits who belong to the opposite group. When it comes to their group mates either religious groups, liberal or secular group; they not only try to cover the horrible acts of these culprits but also try to prove culprits innocent by giving illogical arguments on social media. The same has been witnessed during the last few days by some so-called religious scholars on leaked videos of mufti Aziz. Some of them are trying to prove mufti innocent and called it an act of intrigue against them. Similarly, on the other side, some people are making fun of mufti and demanding punishment. The same would be the case when the culprit belongs to the other side.

 So the point is that both groups have some extremists. They are only demanding punishment for the culprit when he belongs to the opposing group. When it comes to their group they either tried to prove him innocent or kept quiet on the incident. This trend should end.
